Blades
![]() |
|
The blade is a box-like all-metal (sometimes sectional) structure that has steel blades on its lower edge.
Blades are used all year round. In summer, they are employed to develop soils, to spread granular materials across a road construction site, to remove construction and household waste. In winter, they become a must for contractors employed to remove snow and clear the roads within city limits as well as in the countryside.
Blades are classified into several types:
• blades can be mechanical or hydraulic in terms of control;
• blades can be front, side, and grader in terms of their placement on the vehicle;
• blades can be ordinary or high-speed in terms of the vehicle's operating speed.
